I need a little time to vent...

I absolutely DISLIKE it when people cancel plans on me. It has always been a pet peeve of mine, and I don't take it lightly for some odd reason. It's just annoying, okay? I mean, if you're always asking me to go somewhere with you or to hang out then DO IT! I give into making plans do-able for everyone else all the time. Cut me some slack? Plus, when you say you're excited to hang out with me on a certain day then let me know like an hour or a day before that it won't work out...it ticks me off. I miss people like crazy and then they go and do this. It's upsetting. Blah.

I'm sorry, but it just had to be let out.

SNOW DAY!

Hello December!

The first big snow fell upon us today, and I got a very pleasant snow day because of it. My day consisted of lounging, The Today Show, and Facebook. Great, right?

The power went out multiple times which wasn't too fun, but I managed to take a nap until it came back on. So now I'm sitting here with my Marshmallow Lovers hot chocolate in my Starbucks mug and typing on Blogger...love it!

It's been WAY too long...once again.

Lets see...What has gone on in Brittney's life since Halloween? Well...

In the beginning of November I tried out for a part in our yearly Madrigal Dinner skit. I got a very very funny part...I'm a baby mama! ha ha! Completely hilarious. The practices have been so much fun. We're a little behind though. I'm a little frightened by that...Our "coach" if you will has threatened us a little bit letting us know she'd have to cancel if we don't get ourselves together for this production. Oops!

Then...I unfortunately lost my job. AGAIN! Sonic has been slow for quite a while now, so they cut me along with 45 other lucky souls. Great...

I did file for unemployment though which is pretty sad. A 17 year old getting unemployment...psht...

I need money. I have things to pay for so why not?

I'm going to the Trail of Screams later tonight. I'm so excited! It's been a year since I've been there, and I've heard all the about the new attractions they have. Amazing...

Hey Everyone!

It's a Tuesday...nothing special. Tomorrow is my last FULL day of school before a nice, long, 3-day weekend. ahhh....right?

So I'm absolutely thrilled to be visiting my cousin Kari up at Platteville on November 10th! I miss her a ton, and I can't wait. She has her own apartment with a couple of her friends at the campus, and her fiance, Paul, lives right down the hall! Lucky girl...

I'm hoping to take a little tour of the place...just to see if I'd ever consider that college or not.

Ugh...the day can't come soon enough!

Wake Up!

Hey Dolls!

So I had a VERY interesting morning.

As I was headed into work at 8 a.m. after a morning of running around the house trying to find my belongings (I woke up late) I drove to work not knowing that when I got there...the restaurant wouldn't be open.

Ridiculous.

So I drove around until 8:30...the store was FINALLY open.

Yay!

So I headed into the store thinking** I was there to work until my manager let me know that I wasn't supposed to show up to work unitl 11.

Damn.

So hey Sonic, next time you don't have me scheduled during the week and you decide to change the schedule on me without letting me know...think twice!

Hey bloggers...

So it was kind of a gloomy day for myself. It's raining cats and dogs, it was my last dance practice, and i'm just plain confused...

Tomorrow is our last football game (my last football game in high school) and it's getting a little bittersweet. Today, my coach told the dance team to just sit down and tell our favorite memories from this season. Of course, all of us teared up, but I think tomorrow is when we'll really show our emotions.

NO MAKE-UP FOR ME :)

Anyways, I'm still having that paranoia dilemma. I'm just waiting for a response to let me know everything is okay between that person and I...like I said...I'll keep you updated dolls.

Such A Long Time!

Hello lovelies!

Wow! It's been such a long time since I've blogged! I have so much to tell!
Here it goes...

So last Monday (October 12th) I went with my friend Chelsea to a college visit at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa. It was so much fun! I'm definitely considering this college seriously now. The location is amazing and the good thing about it is that I have friends that go there...so I wouldn't be lost if I ended up attending. Then we visited Chels' sister Alyssa up at UWP (University of Wisconsin, Platteville) which was a great time to catch up. After doing that we went back to Clarke to visit my friend Colin and his friends. Hysterical! I love hanging out with them. It was such a great time, and I hope to go back again on November 11th of this year.

So as you know...I got the job at Sonic a while back. Going great! I love it! The people are friendly, the atmosphere is joyus, and my managers are actually NICE to me. See why this place is so great? Yeah...I quit that stupid Menards place. What a load of crap that turned out to be. I still have to turn in my badge. Oh please, it's a piece of cardboard with my picture and my name on it. Ridiculous, really. They claim it's their property. I'll just have a friend of mine turn it in for me. I DREAD going back into that store.

Well, it's my last week of Dance this week, and sadly...the last week of the football season. Our boys won't be going to the playoffs this year. (no surprise there) Dance was alot of fun, but even though I made it into basketball season, I think I need to focus on my school work and my job. No more dance for me. I'll still be cheering them on at some of the games this basketball season. I love them!

Guess what?! Play season is coming into the swing of things! First up...Madrigals! On December 5th we're doing that cute little singing/skit/dinner thing at my school once again this year. I'm so excited! It reminds me of the holidays for some reason. No wonder I adore it.

What a busy, busy week it has been bloggers!

Between dance practice and all other things it's just been so hectic! Okay...time for some good news! Since Menards hasn't been giving me very many hours I applied at Sonic Drive-In just for kicks and giggles to see what would happen. I then got a call on Wednesday informing me I got the job! I'm so excited! It will definitely help me out with paying for gas and other expenses. It's so great!

I guess that was the good news for this week. More money for me! I have a pair of shoes that I'm keeping my eye on...ha ha!

3-DAY WEEKEND!

Happy Labor Day weekend my fellow bloggers...isn't just the best feeling? Well unfortunately for me I have to work tomorrow. 9-2...I'm not ready to stand at a register for 6 LONG hours, but on the positive side, I had an interview yesterday!

Last weekend I applied at Sonic Drive-In. You know...that cute little place where the employees rollerskate out to your car to deliver your food? Well hopefully that will be me soon...I won't know until next week if I got the job or not, but I'm hoping to recieve good news. Menards isn't giving me great hours...I kind of need this.

Sunday I'm going to pick out my Homecoming dress! I'll probably have to special order the one that I adore, but everything should fall into place.

And now for some sad news...our football team lost tonight :(

Hey!

Where has the week gone!? I'll probably be saying that everyday. I've been sick this entire week...coughing, sneezing, runny nose...the whole ordeal. Yesterday was the worst day by far. I couldn't function for the life of me. Who gets a cold in the summer?! Apparently me...

So my first football game was quite a success...a few mistakes but nothing too noticable. Thank God! We're making up a new dance to 'It's Raining Men'. I'm so tired of that song, but I'll make it.

Lazy Sunday...

Hello Sunday!

I've done absolutely nothing this weekend which is quite alright with me. I needed to get caught up on sleep! I just created my Fantasy Football team. Go Classic Payback! ha ha...I'm kind of confused by it, but I'll learn eventually...

Well that's all I've got for today. Blah...kind of boring.

Wow!...Long Time No See!

Wow! I guess I haven't been on here in a while, and ALOT has gone on in my life since then...

I ended my Junior year back in May and I'm officially a Senior now! Where has the time gone?! Last night was Senior Night at my high school's football game. I'm in dance now so I got recognized. It was a ton of fun and I couldn't have asked for anything better! Oh and if you didn't notice...I dyed my hair brown back in January. (miss brunette now) :D

Some vacations I took during the summer...I went to Denver, Colorado to visit family for 7 days. I absoultely LOVE flying so that was fun. I also got to see my cousins in Chicago! I haven't seen them since I was in 5th grade so it was great to see them again.

I was reading my previous posts from last October through November and I have to say that I've changed so much within the past year! It's amazing what time does to you...I'm going to try to blog as much as I can for the next 8 months of my Senior year so I can look back and ultimately laugh at myself and remember what a great year I had.
